📅 Daily Routine

☀️ Morning Drop-Off

  • Safety Patrol (4th & 5th graders) and staff help children exit vehicles safely on the right side. Stay in your vehicle to keep the line moving.
  • Prefer to walk? Park on a nearby street and use the Pre-K/Kindergarten entrance. School parking lots are for staff only.
  • The gym opens at 7:00 a.m. Children may wait there or in the cafeteria until classrooms open at 7:25 a.m.
  • Breakfast is served 7:00–7:25 a.m.
  • Students must be seated in class by 7:40 a.m. Students arriving after 7:40 a.m. are tardy — a parent must walk them to the front office to check in.

🍱 Lunch, Snacks & Water Bottles

Kindergarten lunch is in the cafeteria (time TBD). Children may bring their lunch or purchase a school lunch through the SchoolCafé app.

  • Peanut products are allowed in lunches, but classroom snacks must be peanut-free.
  • After the first 2–3 weeks, parents may join their child for lunch at designated tables outside the cafeteria. Only your child may join you — no other classmates.
  • Please send two simple snacks (morning and afternoon) your child can open independently — goldfish, pretzels, or fruit are great options.
  • Send a leak-proof water bottle daily. No straws. (No Stanleys please — they're tricky in backpacks!)

🚌 Afternoon Dismissal — 3:00 p.m.

Your child's teacher will confirm your after-school plan on the first day. Pickup options include:

  • Bus home or to an aftercare program
  • After-school programs at Haggar
  • Carpool lane (carpool tag must be displayed)
  • Walk-up pickup — teachers escort students to caregivers

If plans change, notify the teacher via email or contact the front office as soon as possible.
