Dear RMH Families:

Who can believe the year is almost over!  With only a little over 6 week of school left the PTA wants to remind everyone that we have some amazing, fun events for the students and family.  Please be on the look out for the PTA Auction, Beach Blast, Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast, Field Day and End of Year Parties.  Everyone enjoys these events and are a great way to end the year and show the students you are proud of all they have accomplished.

And PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK MAY 7-11!  Be on the lookout for what the PTA will be hosting to thank all the terrific RMH teachers for their hard work.  There will be many ways for you and your child to be involved and make the day/s extra special for all the staff at RMH.

Finally, as the year comes to a close please think about being involved in the PTA in the 2018-19 year.  We love being able to provide feild, trips, parties, community events, assemblies, teacher treats and more for our students and staff, but need your help.  Please consider becoming involved in any way that you can.  Our group cannot run without parent involvement and we would love any type of help you can give.  Questions about PTA needs please email president@rmhpta.org for more information.

Looking forward to seeing all of you at the great events these last 6 weeks!

Sincerely,

Stacy Cushing

Go to Kroger's Community Rewards Program to sign-in or create an account at the Kroger Community Rewards page and select our school (Rose Mary Haggar).       Shop thru the Heart

SUPPORT RMH & SUPPORT PISD

As a way to cover expenses that we have traditionally passed along to local PTAs, the general Council membership (Council Board, PTA Presidents, School Principals) voted to initiate Shop Thru the Heart participation at the November meeting in 2016. Funds raised through this program are not for the Council of PTAs, but for all PTAs. It is a simple and impactful way for us to get donations with online shopping that we already do every day.

This program  provides double support since RMH participates in Amazon Smiles. Registered participants can Shop Thru the Heart using Amazon Smiles and accumulate dollars for both programs!

      World Wear Project

Be a part of diverting thousands of pounds of shoes and clothing from local landfills by filling the Community Storehouse shoes and clothing donation bin on our campus with your gently used shoes, clothing, purses, belts, wallets, hats, caps, backpacks, hard toys, stuffed animals and pots and pans. Community Storehouse receives payment for every pound collected from you. You know our organization as first responders to any issues that threaten to interfere with the success in school of the children who live in the Northwest Tarrant County community. The benefit to you? Neater closets, drawers, toy boxes, and kitchens, and the knowledge that less textile waste will end up in our local landfills.

The Big Blue donation bin is located on the south side of the school by the teachers’ parking lot.

Tom Thumb

Stop by the courtesy booth at our local Tom Thumb (Frankford & Preston) and ask them for a Good Neighbor Form. The form can also be found on the RMH PTA website and turned into school front office in PTA box. Use this form to link your Reward card to the RMH PTA, Charity #3060. Each time you present your Reward card, we get 1% of your purchase for our PTA.
