RMH PTA is a team focused on making positive changes. Through fundraising events, we enable building improvements, educational experiences, field trips, and of course the social events. Volunteer at RMH and put your skills and hobbies to use for a great cause - the children - and show them the value you place on their education. PTA events are great opportunities to meet other parents and teachers and build our community with these connections. PTA is an effective way to share ideas, concerns, and experiences that can help strengthen the quality of your child's elementary school experience. So how do you become a member? It's easy! ***Click Here to log in to your RMH account and click on RMH PTA Membership under New Forms***. You will be guided through the step by step process to register with PTA, buy your membership, school supplies, spirit wear and have the option to make an additional donation. You can also sign up for the many volunteer opportunities that are available.

RMH PTA Goals for 2017-2018
Provide RMH students with academic and enrichment opportunities.
Provide our parents with parenting education programs.
Provide communication about PTA and school activities through newsletters, calendars, website and other appropriate channels.
Encourage and support parent participation in their children’s education, and encourage cooperation among teachers, administrators and parents for the education of our children
Provide family activities and foster school spirit.
Provide parents with PISD School Board and state legislative information.
Provide volunteers to assist teachers and staff where necessary.
Show teacher and staff our appreciation.
Sponsor fundraisers to enhance the educational experience of RMH students and to meet PTA budget needs.
Welcome new students and their families and continue to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere at RMH for all students, staff, and families.
Strengthen our community by increasing opportunities for awareness of different cultures

Dear RMH Families:
On behalf of the RMH Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA), I hope you are having a wonderful, relaxing summer break.
The summer has been a busy time for the RMH PTA Board planning programs and activities for the upcoming school year. All PTA-related event and activity details can be found on our website (https://rmhpta.membershiptoolkit.com) which is updated on a regular basis throughout the year. In addition, we ask that you please “Like” us on Facebook (Rose Haggar PTA) and/or “Follow” us onTwitter (@HaggarPTA) to make sure you receive up-to-date and late breaking information on activities and events related to our RMH community.
A few events have already been planned so please make a note of the following dates:
PTA Store Opens!

After school programs open for registration!

New Student Registration
- July 25th & 26th from 9-11am & 1-3pm in the Rosemary Haggar Elementary gymnasium

- August 16th from 6-7:30pm (two sessions)
The PTA Board also encourages all families to join the PTA at an annual cost of only $10 per individual. Support from our PTA membership funds:
- Student Assemblies and Enrichment Events
- RMH Community Events
- After School Enrichment programs
- In school assembly programs
- Resource support for staff and teachers
We are always in need of volunteers to make our events as successful as possible. We provide numerous opportunities to get involved which can accommodate everyone’s schedules, so please consider getting involved this year! To volunteer please log into the PTA website and go to the volunteers tab to sign up.
This will be my first year as PTA President. I am looking forward to a very exciting and fruitful school year. I hope to meet many of you throughout the year as we work together to help strengthen our school community and learning opportunities for our children.
