After School Enrichment Programs

Programs are provided by outside companies and organized by the PTA. Offerings vary by semester and school year.

Book Fair

The Book Fair comes to RMH once a school year and offers books and other items for sale. The Book Fair is organized by the PTA and staffed by parent volunteers. All funds raised go directly to support our RMH Library and the PTA.

Family Fun & Food Nights

Social and fundraising events held at local restaurants, organized by the PTA. Everyone is invited to meet up with their friends and join other RMH Families in support of RMH!

Field Day

Annual school-wide event held each Fall during a school day where the RMH Coaching Staff plan fun, competitive outdoor games for students. Games are led by parent volunteers.

Fifth Grade Adventure Camp/
Outdoor School Program

 

Outdoor School is a three day / two night program offered to all fifth grade students in Plano ISD. The school’s principal, fifth grade teachers, parent volunteers, and students all travel by school bus to Collin County Adventure Camp near Westminster, Texas. Classes are held outdoors and students engage in hands-on science and social studies activities.

Fall Festival

The Fall Festival is our annual fall welcome back event. Entrance to the event is free to Haggar families.

Mariner Dollars

Rewards for good behavior, given by teachers and staff.

Mariner Merchant Fleet

Fundraising program where local merchants join the 'Mariner Merchant Fleet' and support our PTA with monetary or in-kind donations and receive thanks in the Haggar Headlines and on the school marquee. Look for MMF stickers displayed at local businesses and help us thank our supporters! Email mmf@rmhta.org for more info.

Marketing Toolkit (MTK)

The online system PTA uses for our annual registration, spirit wear sales, school supply sales and registration for after school programs.

PACE

Plano Academic and Creative Education is the cornerstone of the districts gifted and talented education program. It serves students in kindergarten through graduation. The PACE instructor at RMH is Randy Pruitt.

Parent Portal Plano ISD

The website used to complete Plano ISD registration forms for returning students, review student grades, check attendance, and more. See https://parentviewer.pisd.edu/.

PASAR

PISD's after school care program for students in grades K-5, located on all elementary campuses.

PTA Auction

Annual online silent auction held each Spring. The PTA's biggest fundraiser of the year.

PTA Registration

A PTA event that is NOT mandatory, but is helpful in getting you ready for the upcoming year. You can purchase PTA Memberships, school supplies, yearbooks, and spirit wear via PTA registration.

Red Ribbon Week

An alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. Each day of the week students are asked to wear a certain color or dress in costume to show their awareness.

Registration

A PISD mandatory event that is required for your child to attend school. You must have a student ID number to register and create an account in the Parent Portal.

Safety Patrol

Students who help with carpool each morning and afternoon.

Spirit Wear

T-shirts, shorts, sweatshirts, and other Haggar apparel. Fridays are Spirit Days, where the students wear their Haggar gear.

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week

Week each Spring where RMH families and the RMH PTA show their appreciation for all of our wonderful Teachers and Staff. Special events are planned by the PTA each day.

Volunteer Application

Annual online application required by Plano ISD prior to doing volunteer work at any Plano ISD school. The application can be found at https://plano.voly.org/ and is available starting July 1 for each upcoming school year.
