After School Enrichment Programs After school programs offered on the RMH Campus. Programs are
provided by outside companies and organized by the PTA.
Programs offered vary by semester and school year. Read the PTA

Book Fair The Book Fair comes to RMH twice per school year and offers books
and other items for sale. The Book Fair is organized by our Librarian
and staffed by parent volunteers. All funds raised go directly to
support our RMH Library.
Experience the Awareness Program brought to RMH every three years where students get the
opportunity to experience what it's like to function with a disability
and build awareness of how differences can profoundly impact the
way people live, think and behave. Program stations are led by
Family Fun & Food Nights Social and fundraising events held at local restaurants, organized by
the PTA. Everyone is invited to meet up with their friends, join
other RMH Families and support RMH!
Field Day Annual school-wide event held each Fall during a school day where
the RMH Coaching Staff plan fun, competitive outdoor games for
students. Games are led by parent volunteers.
Fifth Grade Adventure Camp/Outdoor School Program Outdoor School is a 3 day 2 night program offered to all fifth grade students in Plano ISD. The school’s principal, fifth grade teachers,
parent volunteers, and students all travel by school bus to Collin
County Adventure Camp near Westminster, Texas. Classes are held
outdoors and students engage in hands-on science and social

Haggar Howdy or Fall Festival "The Howdy", is our annual fall welcome back event. Entrance
to eventis free to Haggar families. Food tickets for the Howdy can
be purchased via your account in MTK.
Mariners our school mascot
Mariner Dollars rewards for good behavior, given by teachers and staff
Mariner Merchant Fleet Fundraising program where local merchants join the 'Mariner
Merchant Fleet' and support our PTA with monetary or in-kind
donations and receive thanks in the Haggar Headlines and on the
school marquee. Look for MMF stickers displayed at local
businesses and help us thank our supporters! Email

MTK or Marketing Toolkit the online system PTA uses for our annual registration, spirit wear sales, school supply sales and registration for after school
PACE Plano Academic and Creative Education is the cornerstone of the
districts gifted and talented education program. It serves students
in kindergarten through graduation. The PACE instructor at RMH is
PIN Night Parent Information Night - a meeting, typically the 2nd night of
school, where parents and teachers go over curriculum and
expectations for the upcoming school year.

PASAR PISD's after school care program for students in grades K-5, located

PTA Registration A PTA event that is NOT mandatory, but is helpful in getting you
ready for the upcoming year. Registration is done through MTK, via
www.rmhpta.org. You can purchase PTA Memberships, school
supplies, yearbooks, and spirit wear via PTA registration.
Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention
awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United
States. Each day of the week students are asked to wear a certain
color or dress in costume to show their awareness.
Registration A PISD mandatory event that is required for your child to attend
school. You must have a student ID number to register and create
an account in the Parent Portal.

Rockin’ Auction Annual online silent auction held each Spring. The PTA's biggest
fundraiser of the year.
Safety Patrol Students who help with Carpool each morning and afternoon.
Sock Hop Annual school-wide evening family fun event held each Spring.
Hosted by the PTA.
Spirit Assembly School-wide assembly held during the school day approximately
three times per year. Various programs and awards are presented
during Spirit Assemblies.
Spirit Wear Tee-Shirts, shorts, sweatshirts and other Haggar apparel. We often
have Spirit Fridays, where the students wear their Haggar gear.
Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week Week each Spring where RMH families and the RMH PTA show their
appreciation for all of our wonderful Teachers and Staff. Special
events are planned by the PTA each day.
Triathion Triathlon trophies are awarded at the year-end Spirit Assembly to
students entering three of the following programs - Fire Prevention
Poster Contest, Geography Poster Contest, History Fair, PTA
Reflections Art Program, Science Fair, Student Book Publishing
Program or Yearbook Cover Art Contest.
Volunteer Application Annual online application required by Plano ISD prior to doing
volunteer work at any Plano ISD school. Application can be found
at https://oea.pisd.edu/volunteer/EntryPointHomeAction.do and is
available starting July 1 for each upcoming school year.
With the uncertainty of delivery, we will plan to distribute yearbooks at next year's RMH Meet The Teacher event in August. Pre-ordered yearbooks will be in your child's new classroom, just like school supply orders in the past.
Yearbook orders for this year's 5th graders will be distributed in the gym at Frankford Middle School's Schedule Pickup next August.
