Backpack & Supplies
Send a backpack daily. You can order supplies through the PTA (delivered to the classroom before school starts!) or purchase independently and bring on the first day.

Each child has a locker for their backpack. Please include a labeled change of clothes appropriate for the season — accidents happen! Lost and Found is located outside the library and fills up quickly. Label everything!
Daily Folder
A folder comes home each day with behavior updates, classwork, occasional homework, and school/PTA info. Check it every day — this is one of the primary ways teachers communicate with families!
Specials
Students enjoy Gym, Music, Art, & Library. Haggar is known for its amazing specials programs! Students are grouped into color groups (separate from classroom assignments) for their specials schedule. Assignments are made in the first few weeks.
Birthdays
Students may celebrate with a simple store-bought treat at the end of the day. Cookies, doughnuts, and brownie bites are great — easy to serve and not messy. Please coordinate with your child's teacher in advance.
